The Coastal and Marine Union (EUCC), the Global Ocean Forum, the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission at UNESCO, the Ocean and Climate Platform, the Sasakawa Peace Foundation (Japan), the University of Delaware, together with 37 other collaborating partners are organizing the Oceans Day at COP 21 in Paris. This side event meeting will take place at the Rio Conventions Pavilion in Le Bourget in Paris, and does not require UNFCCC accreditation to attend. Please complete the registration form to be considered for attendance.
Representatives of EUCC and EUCC Altantic Centre will be in attendance at Oceans Day. The purpose of the Oceans Day is to advance the oceans and climate change agenda at the 21st Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC COP 21) and beyond.
The Oceans Day at COP 21 (Friday, December 4, 2015) will be held at the Rio Conventions Pavilion (in the Civil Society Zone) in cooperation with the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) Secretariat.
